Hi, I am
Rachèl van Dijkhorst

"As a fish trying to climb trees, I've finally found my water..."

It has taken quite some time to figure out who I am and what I want to do with my life. I have spent a good while doing things I thought I should do and things I believed would suit me. After going through some existential crisis and discovering that I'm neurodivergent, I've started to build a life around things I love and that align with who I really am—not some polished-up version of myself that drains my energy. One of those things is coding and being creative. Making things really allows me to lose track of time, get into the flow and just be happy, and that's exactly what learning how to code has given me. I'm excited for this new chapter - dare I say BOOK - in my life, and I'm glad you're a part of it 💛. Besides coding I love making word art (not the kind from the computer 90's, but the poetry and spoken word kind), cuddling my cats and just being cozy overall while pondering all the wonders of this world.
